Our Story
ESTABLISHED 2016
Our Story
Dad’s Wooden Garage started in 2016 with a simple idea: make something meaningful by hand.
Where it began
We began by creating hand-cut, hand-painted wooden hanging letters—the kind of keepsake that turns a child’s room into their space. Each piece was made one at a time, with the care and attention you only get from a small shop and a lot of heart.
How we grew
As customers asked for more personalized pieces, our work naturally evolved. We expanded into custom themed puzzles designed to be both fun and personal. From there, we built out a full line of children’s toys and decor—products that invite kids to play, learn, and imagine.
What inspires us
Our biggest inspiration has always been right at home: our boys. Watching them explore, build, and learn through play shaped everything we make. We’re drawn to educational play because it’s the kind of play that sticks—helping kids practice skills, build confidence, and create memories at the same time.
10 years in
October 2026 marks our 10th anniversary, and we’re grateful for every family who has supported our little garage shop along the way. What started with hand-painted letters has grown into a brand built on creativity, personalization, and purposeful play.
